Yes, but from the monitor, something swallowed in in one bite. Killer whales kill by eating as they kill. This sucker died fast.
It swallowed the tag, maybe not the whole shark. Something could have bitten off only the dorsal fin which is where I see they put most tags.
Probably just swallowed a chunk containing the monitor.
Much more likely, imo.
