Imagine you are called on the phone out of the blue, and you are called to the whitehouse to appear in the rose garden with the president to give a speech in a few hours announcing an emotional situation which you are very deeply involved?

Did the Bergdahls seem Joe Six Pack camera shy? Did they seem nervous? Did Obama seem distant? Were they oddly close and comfortable with one another? Was it not rude to give public comment in a foreign language which the host who has invited you does not speak?(extermely rude)
