I have voted for every park, every library, all the school improvements, for light rail, for anything that will make this city better. But now I cant afford to live here anymore. Ill protest my appraisal notice, but thats not enough. Someone needs to step in and address the big picture.
I have voted for every...
Someone needs to step in and address the big picture.
That someone is you, the voter.
Just bits of gray fluff, blown into their heads, by mistake.

A liberal gets mugged by reality, but is unable to i.d. the perp.
But I thought only the rich paid taxes and I’m not rich . . . waaaaaaaaaaah!
They’re not too bright. Not too bright at all.
ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.................NOW PAY YOUR TAXES YOU VOTED FOR AND SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!.........................
someone has to pay for all that stuff for the children....
LOOK IN THE MIRROR! THE PROBLEM IS Y O U !...................
That's actually merciful and positive outcome because she may be forced to move to a lower cost of living area ahead of the curve before the city ultimately becomes unlivable like the rest of the great cities liberals have fouled their nests and ruined with their policies
hash tag # Face-palm selfie . . .
You asked for it dumbass. You voted for the tax increases and nowhere in the statutes you voted for was it specified that you idiots could decide what is fair or how your property would be valuated. You have no choices so be good little fascists and accept your fate and your “fair” share.
I’m not so sure she’s awake. She called for someone to step in and address the big picture. That probably means she thinks she needs financial assistance to help pay the taxes she voted for.
‘A key problem, critics say, is that the current system has shifted a disproportionate share of the burden of paying for schools and local services on homeowners, in favor of commercial and corporate interests who can afford to appeal their values and win big reductions year after year. The share of property taxes from homeowners to support public schools grew from 45 percent to 54 percent over a 12-year period, while commercial and industrial owners share has declined to less than 20 percent. (Other sectors, from oil and gas to personal property, make up the rest.)’
PJ O’Rourke commented years ago how each illegal drug has its own built-in payback mechanism from paranoia and excess empathy (pot) to death (heroin). Liberalism, for all but the those at the very top of the food chain is much the same.
What a ditz-I hope she doesn’t like the rural life-but she would get a reality check in a very short tome...
Apparently the gubmint hand out “free” mirrors.
