A soldier who served with Bowe Bergdahl told the Examiner that the most painful part about the last five years was having to remain silent while misinformation was being circulated in the media surrounding the circumstances of Bergdahl's disappearance.
The soldier, who opted to remain anonymous, said that he was bound by a nondisclosure agreement.
"We're watching the news," he said. "None of it was true."

Keith Ellison will swear him in on a koran.
How will Obama and the media blame Bush for this one?
Sadly, while it would be nice to see it as a joke, it is not at all beyond the realms of possibility that what you state will come to pass.

Is it right for a person with this information to stay quiet for that long?
Part of the problem these days is the fear of repression by the government. All it is going to take to trip this government is enough brave men and women to stand up and tell the truth.
Part of the role of a patriot is to stand up to tyranny without regard for personal safety.
The attraction of a pension is enough to keep most people suppressed. And that is sad.
Anyone who has been interviewed by these dolts will tell you, nothing in print or on the tube is factual. They can not even quote people correctly.
