I am on hold for nearly 45 minutes now waiting for someone, hopefully sentient, to answer the phone at the VA.
It has been two weeks since a second, duplicative CT Scan to ascertain what was diagnosed 18 months earlier, I have an inguinal hernia that the VA will not correct. I was told over two weeks ago that the results of my scan would be briefed to me. Crickets chirping....
I need surgery, can’t get it. I am unemployed, no worries.
24 years of service, I should wait over 24 months for a needed procedure. Why not? You get what you pay for right?
Oh, wait a minute, I paid for these “services” for 24 years. Maybe I have mistakenly accepted lowest of low expectations.
Or not.
Nothing the government does is useful any longer.
Hell, we have two astronauts being held hostage on the ISS because we no longer have a manned space flight program.
But, and this is really good news, the NASA director is reaching out to muslims everyday.
