Not guilty with extreme prejudice!
Reminds me of something that happened when I was in the 10th grade. I was told by my Math teacher(A guy) that my Social Studies teacher(A knockout young woman) “really liked” me. I responded in a way that conveyed a casual “of course she likes me”. My Math teacher then responded that what he was meaning was that she “REALLY LIKED” me. He told me this while winking and nodding. The clear implication being she was physically attracted to me. NOTHING REVER HAPPENED between us. HOWEVER, I knew of classmates(a guy and girl) that were having sex with teachers. The guy doing it said he slept with his English teacher a hundred times his Senior year. This was during the late 70’s.
My point. I think this is, and has been, much more common than anyone might think. And yes, I think there is a difference between this happening to a girl and a boy. The guy I reference above was 6’2” and 215lbs as a Senior in HS. He could not have been FORCED by his teacher to do anything. The dynamic with a male teacher and a young female student is just not the same.
