More dead-tree dinosaur newspaper death throes. Pittsburgh P-G and Toledo Blade slashing jobs amidst heavy losses. Granted the article comes from Dick Scaife's competing Pittsburgh paper and is filled with schadenfreude.

The Toledo Blade has been nothing but a Leftist propaganda mill for decades. Good riddance.

Did some research on typographer’s pay like in the late 80’s was $750 a week.

The progressive Post-Gazette actually wanted their employees to take less money? Tsk tsk.

Venerable old papers if a bit liberal.

How the Youngstown Vindicator stays in business I will never know.

Still like the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Great names.

Sounds like the best solution for this is...a wage increase (sarcasm)

I still love the old names, but don't think I have had ink stained hands in 20 years.

See you in the funny papers...

Oh God please let the PG job cuts include the race-obsessed Tony Norman and the craven lefty Reg Henry.

They also kept the wrong editorial cartoonist. Rob Rogers is another blind mouse.

Double the price of the paper. That’ll fix it!
