I hope they try to become a serious news source and not stray into WND, the Blaze, or Newsmax land where we get bizarre stories, viral videos as news, cryptic click-bait headlines, and a screen full of obnoxious popup ads for survival food or a bunch of other junk.

We need something that can go against HuffPo, which has become an actual news portal for lots of people, and not just a policy wonk outlet.

He chose a very poor title. That article is about the new regulations. He does stipulate the following:

A near-universal consensus does exist that man-made emissions have some warming effect; however, the controversy is about whether human activity is the primary driver of climate change and the magnitude of climate change induced by GHG emissions. Most importantly, no matter what one believes regarding climate change, one thing is clear: The regulations would not have any noticeable impact on global temperatures.

And we all know that human activity is NOT the primary driver. Well, unless you count the human activity of climate scientists who falsify data to push their ideological agenda. In that case, human activity would indeed be the primary driver.

“Obama is right to say climate change is a fact. A near-universal consensus does exist that manmade emissions have some warming effect; “

Yeah, that was strike one for me. They got 2 more tries.

Free Republic is not a news site with a staff of journalists, but I won’t begrudge you your opinion. Cheers.

Agreed. I’d encourage you to email them or post that to their site or tweet them or whatever method you have available and prefer.

Good news, I hope. Thanks for the heads up. Don’t know the easiest way to follow it. Either Facebook or here if there’s a ping list but it could be overkill for us busy folks. Be nice to get a one-page summary of the most important issues, something like that.

The Heritage Foundation was originally a conservative think tank. Paul Weyrich later realized that some people whom he allowed on the board, *sounded* conservative but were, it turned out, Republicans in Name Only. Eventually, the RINO's nudged Paul Weyrich ... away ... enough, that he left and started the Free Congress Foundation.

Now, after years of Rush Limbaugh pointing out, that the leftists/liberals echo The Daily Fax from The Democrat Party ... comes the Heritage Foundation's Daily Signal, a poor choice of words.

What incredible idiot came up with the name The Daily Signal?

Signal was a propaganda magazine published by the German Wehrmacht from 1940 through 1945. It is also a magazine put out by PBS.
