Watch How Vastly Different West Point Cadets React Between Hearing Presidents Obama and Bush
The Journal Review ^ | May 29, 2014 | Caroline Schaeffer

Even the pundits at CNN had to agree – President Obama’s reception at West Point was nothing short of “icy.” His graduation speech has been slammed as being less “Commander in Chief” and more “policy wonk playing defense.” And the way the audience reacted supports it.

He receives a standing ovation from about a fourth of the audience who has come to see the the West Point class of 2014 graduate and commission as 2nd Lieutenants, and throughout his speech, he receives only mild applause from the graduates and their friends and families.

Compare that to the speech President George W. Bush gave to the corps of cadets in 2008 in his last military academy speech as President:

Obama's captive audience of cadets really gave him the infamous West Point "silence" treatment. Compare that to how they received Bush when he spoke to them in 2008.

obama ALWAYS gives the appearance of a HUGELY condescending A-hole; up there ‘lecturing’ Americans as to “how it IS”...

This creep barely grew up in this country. He knows NOTHING about “how it is” in this great United States of America.

President Bush says, “There are many honors that come with the Presidency, but none higher than serving as Commander in Chief in the greatest Armed Forces on Earth.”

what a remarkable thing for the President of the United States to say... he gets it... he gets that he has big shoes to fill simply by being the President of the United States... Obama thinks the role of Commander-in-Chief should be honored that he is filling that role... President Bush was proud to have the opportunity to be Commander-in-Chief... Obama is embarrassed by it...

Bush: Loves U.S. armed forces
Obama: Hates U.S. armed forces

Pretty simple.

That’s not open for debate. But please, show restraint and respect. It should be...His Excellency the Creep.

(You DO agree he is most excellent at it?)

The difference between the two receptions is amazing. (For once use of the term “amazing” is meaningful.)

“Dear brand new 2nd Lieutenant, no combat for you, no chance to practice your craft; you’re gonna fight global warming!!!”

...

“Valerie, I can’t understand it. I told them I’d save them from combat and instead gave them global warming as their challenge. Where’s the love??? I just don’t understand.”

Of course. Bush was a real leader, a strong believer in and supporter of the military, who had sent their former classmates to wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to secure freedom for generations to come. Odufus doesn’t seem to believe in the military’s abilities at all.

Is Obama even aware of the fact he is not “in charge” as much as his donors?

Well, therein lies the difference between a leader who is a true American and one who does not know how to lead or how to be an American. Obama is a clueless twit and our country is weaker because of him.

Over heard a guy at the truck stop say, “well now those cadets have had their first taste of torture”. LOL, too true!

Not only that, but those cadets had to stand at attention for almost ten minutes before 0 bummer was late, but what else is new.

I don’t swear, as a rule. In fact, it even pains me to type this. But the first word that pops into my head upon seeing a picture of Obama is “Asshole!” I’ve tried to stop it, but I can’t. The word is what the man is.
