Dems Run, But Can't Hide from ObamaCare
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 05/27/2014 | IBD Staff

Denial: Six months ago, Rep. Nancy Pelosi promised Democrats would "stand tall" for ObamaCare. But as November elections near, more Democrats want to pretend ObamaCare never happened. And for good reason.

Georgia's Senate candidate, Michelle Nunn, refuses to say whether she would have voted for ObamaCare had she been in Congress in 2010. Ditto Kentucky's Alison Lundergan Grimes and Nebraska House candidate Pete Festersen.

Montana's Sen. John Walsh, who is trying to keep the seat he was appointed to in February, wants everyone to know that he was far, far away from Washington when ObamaCare votes were cast, "preparing soldiers and airman to deploy to Iraq and Afghanistan."

Even Pelosi is trying to downplay ObamaCare for the midterms, saying in an interview over the weekend that "we're not running on or from the Affordable Care Act."

Without their own alternative media to broadcast the truth, the Republicans can squander this advantage by letting Dems work the same news suppression campaign they did in 2012 to keep the Kenyan Pirate in office another four years.

What other option do they have?

When ever a demodummie gets “un-elected” (booted), they should loose their cushy insurance (”better option”) and be forced to use ONLY odumbocare.

Pelosi: we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it. One of the most ridiculous statements ever made by a politician. Well, Democrats passed it and now we’re learning what’s in it, and it’s ugly. The public isn’t happy.

OTOH, the small handful of democrats who voted AGAINST Obamacare are touting it loud and touting it proud. Here we have three Minnesota Democrats addressing an agricultural symposium:

...it was the question about the struggling health care law that everyone in the audience wanted to see answered, and two out of the three Democrats on the dais seemed hesitant to tackle.

The question: “I thought the Affordable Care Act would save $2500 per family. What happened?”

After Sen. Klobuchar and Rep. Walz looked at each other, laughter broke out in the room.

Rep. Peterson quickly picked up the microphone to say, “I voted ‘no’, so I’ll let these guys handle that,” to the applause of the crowd.

I don’t know how that works, but the perks-for-life for our political class are a burden taxpayers should revolt against. Double-dipping has become a way of life for whole families that haven’t worked in the private sector for generations...

“Pelosi: we have to pass the bill to see what’s in it. One of the most ridiculous statements ever made by a politician.”

That “our media” gave her a pass on that was one of the most frightening indications of where this country is headed; the absurdity of that comment, and the outright admissions by so many Dems that they hadn’t read it but voted for it anyway, was extremely disturbing.

Anarchists are right to distrust all government and authority; they have no viable alternative, but they know this is all a hoax.

They were not in the Congress to vote for it-----but did the campaign coffers of then-candidates Georgia's Michele Nunn, Kentucky's Alison Lundergan Grimes and Nebraska House candidate Pete Festersen get a chunk of the Obamacare $$billions floating round Democrat circles?

THIS WE KNOW Some observers have noted that the Democrat-controlled Senate passed Obamacare "after a series of unsavory transactions that purchased the aye votes of several shrewdly extortionate Democrats"....with a huge pile of money still unaccounted for.

The most unsavory was Landrieu's $4.3 billion "Louisisana Purchase."

THE PAPER TRAIL IS HUGE Sen Landrieu (Scumocrat-LA) sold her aye vote in what Forbes Magazine dubbed "The 'Louisiana Purchase" that included a massive $4.3 Billion to Landrieu

FORBES REPORTED the Democrats’ nailed Landrieu’s support for Obamacare w/ a greenback bribe. Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for some $200 million more additional federal funds for Louisiana. Except that, due to a drafting error, the law ended up giving Louisiana $4.3 billion: more than twenty times the assigned amount. MORE HERE http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml

===============================================

BACKSTORY In the fall of 2009, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was trying to get the necessary 60 Dimocrat votes to pass the Affordable Care Act. He needed every Dim on board, which gave waffling senators a great deal of leverage. In Landrieu's case, she connivingly saw that selling her aye vote could get her maybe $200 million federal dollars. Obama complied. Reid chalked up another vote for Obamacare. But not the measly $200 million but $4.3 billon was attached to the Obamacare bill earmarked for Landrieu.

=================================================

How $4.3 billion to Landrieu was calculatedly attached to the Obamacare bill, and how Obama and Reid failed to catch and fix it, is yet another indictment of the Obamacare atrocity. The payoff to Landrieu should be investigated as an indication of how EVERY Democrat came to vote for Obamacare....and perhaps helped elect more loyal Democrats.

=======================================

<><> Where'd the money go, Democrats? <><>

Do Georgia's Michele Nunn, Kentucky's Alison Lundergan Grimes and Nebraska House candidate Pete Festersen know?

SURPRISE---Turns out Obamacare is a vehicle for consolidating Dummycrat power.....w/ a multi-billion dollar slush fund. A perfect vehicle for non-stop looting and pillaging of tax dollars.

The Untraceable $8 Billion ObamaCare PR Budget---truly govt fraud at its finest. Egged on by Pelosi, no one in Congress told Americans about Section 4002---which mandates an $8B untraceable fund to "promote" Obamacare (apparently b/c Boobamba had so little confidence in his signature legislation). In 2010 Taxpayers are extorted $500 million, in 2011, $750 million, 2012, $1 billion, 2013, $1.25 billion, 2014, $1.5 billion and in 2015 and on, $2 billion......

....the reasons for all those O/Care delays, fixits, exemptions, waivers, extensions, etc, are becoming crystal clear.....can you say govt fraud? ====================================================

Over $5 Billion and Counting for Obamacare Websites - By Brianna Ehley, The Fiscal Times, 5/13/14

You thought Healthcare.gov had problems? A handful of state-run exchange websites—which cost nearly half a billion dollars to build—still don’t work, nearly seven months after they first went live. Largely inoperable state exchange websites in Maryland, Massachusetts, Oregon and Nevada have racked up $474 million federal tax dollars so far, Politico first reported.

The costs will continue to climb as states scramble to salvage the flailing websites or transition onto the federal exchange.

Obama gave Oregon $304 million to build its defectie website which enrolled zero people.

==================================================

Obamacare is also a voter registration web site---and a HUGE Democrat voter fraud machine----plugging unsuspecting enrollees into Democrat voter rolls.

Local couple upset after receiving pre-marked voter registration card from "Covered California" (Cali O/Care)
10news | 03-29-2014 | Preston Phillips / FR Posted by Kevin in California

A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state's Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.

My individual plan was cancelled by Obamacare. The Democrat plan to delay all other mandates of Obamacare until after the elections is a mark of genius.

I have spoken to a lot of people about my situation. Those persons that have plans yet to be cancelled seem to know diddly squat about Obamacare. When I tell them of the increased premiums and the astronomical deductibles I can see fear in their eyes. This message needs pushed big time.

“The public isn’t happy.”

But they’ll sure continue to vote Progressive because Progressives “care about the people” according to the mainstream press.

IMHO

You can push the message only so much. People only seem to care if it affects them personally and, given time, it will affect everyone negatively.

Everything that has transpired since Obamacare passed was predicted. No surprises to those who were paying attention.

The Dems seem to have stumbled onto an effective implementation strategy. Piecemeal implementation is spreading out the pain over several years, so it’s difficult for people to associate Obamacare and pain.

"the law that Pelosi insists be called by its official title: the Affordable Care Act."

This is not an accurate statement. Its official title is: the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act". Going by a shortened version of the initials, it's the "Pee Pee Act"

Democrats will “slink low” for ObamaCare and try to pretend that they had nothing to do with it.

They will be caught like the Wizard behind the curtain.

Its official title is: the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act”.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

That is the title but only the silliest of twits on the planet ever thought it had anything to do with patient protection or care of any kind. I have tried calling all the Squirrels that I have around my house Thoroughbred race horses but they still keep chattering and eating hickory nuts and nobody is trying to buy them from me.
