While I sympathize with this man's loss, it doesn't change the fact that he is an idiot.

If somebody loses a child to a drunk driver, does the family of the victim blame the auto industry or the alcohol industry (or their lobbies) for the death? No, they put the blame squarely where it belongs: on the drunk driver. Yet the same people are conditioned to throw the same logic out the window when firearms are involved. It's almost a Pavlovian response.

Had he not used a gun, he would have used a knife on them all. He used a knife on three of them, after all.

What about the shooter?! Doesn’t he care about him? The shooter died “a virgin!” Is that the NRA’s fault too? Morons.

Perhaps some engaging reporter could point to the number of time an NRA member has gone on a shooting spree

If our gun rights were respected, this kid would have been shot before he could kill so many people. And if they made it into some European panty-waist country, loons like this would find another way to kill people. Like with his German BMW, or a bomb. He stabbed 3 of his 9 victims, let’s blame the knife.

"California"

Keyword there...

I couldn't imagine what it must be like to be such a moron. To put myself in that place. Imagine.... Someone kills your kid, and rather than blame the killer, you focus your anger towards an organization that has absolutely nothing to do with the murder. WTF!! ....

The leftists have got to see things like this, and feel emboldened/accomplished as a result. Their plans/agenda is working.

I can see where the son got the “blame everyone else” mentality!

Blames the NRA?

He conveniently forgot to mention violent movies and violent video games:

The father was an assistant director on a film series - “Hunger Games” - in which the main plot line is teenagers murdering other teenagers.

Also, the self-videos left behind by his murderous son clearly imitates language and plot lines from “American Psycho,” a movie about a man who murders female prostitutes.

Finally, in his son's manifesto, the young man mentions his enjoyment of violent video games.

Shooting rampage victim's father blames NRA

And we properly blame you, ya barking moonbat.

Had an armed concealed carry individual been on the scene, the only mortality would have been the murderer.

Typical liberal response. Blame outside forces and not the culprit himself for the crime. How long will it be before some city council member in Santa Barbara will propose banning the use of silverware in that city’s restaurants because of the fear they could be used to injure or kill? Just being facetious but you never know with the convoluted minds of our leftist countrymen.

The distraught dad’s comments sound a lot like the wanker shooter’s - blaming the wrong people for his unhappiness.

And is the NRA to blame for the three who were stabbed to death? How about the cyclist run down with the BMW?

I understand this man is grieving but his anger is misplaced and it is due to the misinformation disseminated daily by liberals and the complicit leftist media.

Lets see here dad, who had the most time with your son to influence him, you and your wife or the NRA. Don’t see anywhere that your son is an NRA member so where “H” do you get off blaming the NRA. Pretty pitiful to use your son’s death to further your obvious liberal bias.

Is he going to put on his son’s shoes and go camp out in front of NRA HQ like Tom Mauser?
