But boiling water takes energy, so all those Porlandians boiling their water will contribute to Portland’s carbon footprint, causing more global warming.
Also, many thousands of Portlandians are in danger of serious injury because they may not have been warned that one must allow the water to cool before drinking it. Did the “boil before drinking” notification come with detailed safety instructions?
