Obama ties reform to midterms (immigration)

Immigration reform might not pass Congress if Democrats can’t hold their ground in the midterm elections this fall, President Obama told a Democratic fundraiser Thursday night in Chicago.

“Think about what’s at stake right now. Think about it. If we do not hang on to the Senate and make gains in the House we may not get immigration reform done, which means we could have another three, four years in which we're being deprived of talent we're training here in the United States — they go back home and start businesses someplace else,” Obama said.

The president’s comments suggest that the White House does not believe House Republicans plan to move on reform legislation before the November elections, throwing cold water on hopes that reform might come after lawmakers conclude primary season.

In his remarks, Obama complained that Republicans “so far, at least, have refused to budge on bipartisan legislation to fix our immigration system."

He said that opposition came “despite the fact that every economist who’s looked at it says it's going to improve our economy, cut our deficits, help spawn entrepreneurship, and alleviate great pain from millions of families all across the country.”

“When we talk about immigration reform there’s no wild-eyed romanticism,” the president continued. “We say we're going to be tough on the borders, but let’s also make sure that the system works to allow families to stay together.”

Yeah, right. Illegal aliens are all looking to start businesses here.

Gotcha. Lack of immigration reform, not choking regulations, high fuel costs, high taxes and Obamacare, is holding back entrepreneurial activity.

This is how the demagogue (Obama being the generic demagogue type) operates. To a business group, immigration reform means one thing, which Obama addresses. To those trying to promote Socialism, it means not a few skilled individuals, but an ongoing flood of third world types, who have no sympathy, whatsoever, with traditional American values.

For how the demagogues play the business community, see Another Variation On A Demonic Theme.

For how the Left intends to destroy American continuity via mass immigration, "Diversity" In Context: Reality vs. Leftist Fantasy.

We are losing a war for our future, because we do not effectively answer the tactics of deception, which are the only real argument that the totalitarian collectivists have.

There ya go, Obamas plan A.

translation Obama :”You Dems better come up with lots of campaign $$$, and you better get out the Dem vote or the GOP will block us from making the immigration laws more humane for persecuted Latinos. Elections have consequences. Do you want your families torn apart by INS? Republicans do. Get mad and get working.“

The best way to put a lie to this claim is to propose a green card for every valedictorian in return for a deportation of every drug mule or gang banger. Then start working inward from there.

Guess who will be the first to denounce such a plan.

“...the fact that every economist who’s looked at it says it’s going to improve our economy...”

Obama and his minions repeatedly make this kind of false statement. Where does he get his authority to speak for “every” economist? It’s time for a brave journalist to ask him, “Have you spoken to every economist?”

It’s also time for some conservative economists to point out the falsehood of his statements. Something like, “We economists who have all looked at this issue find the president’s comments to be completely false. The immigration reform the president seeks will not improve our economy.”

Der leader is even threatening yet a-n-o-t-h-e-r unilateral presidential move if amnesty don't get passed. Oooooo, I betcha the Pubbies are so askeerd (snix).

Hmmmm. So why is Obama s-o-o-o-o-o anxious to get illegal youngsters across the border?

Have we forgotten how Democrats fell over themselves, praising Obama's "Deferred Action for (ahem) Children"?

And when latino "Dreamers" called on Democrats to pressure Obama to bring in more of them, the kids had a receptive audience.

Lordy, those priapic Dem pedophiles practically salivated at the thought of the Dreamers..... and hordes of their underage little brothers and sisters.

Even as we type, the Obama admin is setting-up comfy-cozy privacy shelters at a Texas Air Force base for latino youngsters who crossed the border all by their lonesome---one was three years old (the kiddies' parents shooed 'em across as the DNC passed out $10 dollar bills per kid).

=============================================

Watta guy. Obama helpfully imports young partners for open-minded lib/prog on Capitol Hill----and provides tax-funded shelters for their diversions.

Is this not tolerant and compassionate progressive government at its finest?

Good! I hope the do go home and do what they can to make their home countries more prosperous and more free. They should go home and help make their countries into strong constitutional republics which will be good allies and trading partners.

30,000 released? The regime can’t be trusted with any type of amnesty.
