Thackney... Interesting. What is to the West in New Mexico that is potentially Horizontal Drill-able that will be shut down by Obama’s 600,000 acre land grab. Hmmm..., are the two items linked i.e., to stop H-D in New Mexico if it has potential?

There was a good discussion on this topic recently in Houston by Railroad Commission Commissioner Christi Craddick.
The discussion also included the shifting to larger rigs with more horse-power and weight capacity that were not required for most vertical drilling in the Permian Basin.
