Though underfunded, she tirelessly built momentum in the final few weeks of the campaign. But Phil Gingrey was able to get enough support out of the metro-Atlanta portion of his district that it, among other things, held Karen back.
She and Steve are dear friends and I wish the very best for them.
Into the runoff, I will support my friend Jack Kingston. Jack is with us a thousand percent on every social issue out there. Jack has just been on the Appropriations Committee and his fiscal votes over the years have not been as good as I thought Handels would be.

I have a terrible feeling Perdue will be Saxby’s third term. I looked up Kingston’s voting record this morning. He almost always votes the right way. At least he has a record to look at which is more than David Perdue can say.
I voted for Handel, but will now support Kingston, as well. Perdue, I am afraid is another of the good ol’ boys. Doesn’t turn me on for senate, at all!
Perdue will make Saxby look like Ted Cruz.
I’m afraid you are right. We need to get out and push Kingston over the top on July 22nd.
