when i was 12 or 13 years old, my niece (who is 10 months younger than i) and i found a cigarette--it belonged to my uncle who would sometimes stay at our home... we decided that we would smoke it that night when everyone went to sleep... we had planned to do it at midnight, but we fell asleep... at 2 a.m. my niece wakes me up and says, "let's do it." so we quietly sneaked to the bathroom, lit the cigarette and my mom came knocking on the bathroom door as we were taking our first puffs... she could smell the damn cigarette! we were caught...
SO TRUE!!
Thanks for your story--it rings SO REAL and TRUE to me. Parents are the adults and had us "all figured out" USUALLY before we even made a move. Lol.
You're here, proof that you grew up RIGHT! ;o)
Sounds like the first and only time I tried to skip school. MOM caught me within an hour and took me to school. Dad had me fixing watergaps on the ranch for 2 week’s.
Oh, does your story bring back memories. One morning I got up and immediately smelled cigarette smoke in the upstairs hall. I knew it had to be my thirteen year old daughter so I knocked on her door, checked it and sure enough, the door was locked. I told her to open the door, and after a few seconds, she did. After I entered her room, I took another few seconds looking for the cigarette because I could still smell the smoke and see it in the air. Finally I saw the smoke, coming out from under her pillow on the bed!
