The Blood of Martyrs must be shed to help change society. Mexico had this in their persecutions in the 1920's and 1930's. I believe this is the fruit of the Blood of the Martyrs. In the Roman Empire, when there was sufficient Flood of the Martyrs there was a heavenly intervention... This was the sign that appeared in the sky that told Constantine that by this sign you will conquer.
Similarly, in Jewish tradition, when the Jewish people were enslaved in Egypt God heard the cries of His people and sent Moses (along with the power) to free HIS people.
