Hey, I’m going to start talking about being hit with a hammer. So you are all warned that if my talking about being hit with a hammer is going to make you think about one time when you were hit with a hammer, and you want to avoid thinking about being hit with a hammer, well then hey, here is your warning that I’m going to talk about getting hit with a hammer.
You now have 20 seconds to leave, and go elsewhere, where you won’t be thinking at all about being hit with a hammer.
Man, these warning triggers are wonderful and certain to prevent people from thinking about the things that might bother them.
Thanks for the trigger warning.
Now I can avoid having your subsequent postings remind me of that time I got hit by a hammer. I’ve finally managed to put getting hit by a hammer completely out of my mind. I’ve reached a point in my life where I never think about being hit by a hammer, and I am grateful to you for allowing me to continue my life, thinking about anything I want to think about - except, of course, being hit by that hammer.
