Actually reading the media repots of the climate change partisans is painful for anyone grounded in science. I’d expect more deniers as the global warming projections become more ludicrous.
One major problem with the claim by the AGW proponents that ‘the vast majority of climate experts think that the science is settled’ is that to be considered a climate expert, as defined by the AGW proponents, one cannot oppose the central AGW hypothesis.
Any senior scientists who disagree will be labeled pariahs, and risk losing their stature and funding; and, any junior scientists who disagree will never achieve stature (and quite likely won't get published or receive funding).
Just like the computer models they use as scientific proof, the system is tweaked to provide consensus in favor of the hypothesis they've already decided is true.
