A unique Peace Run initiated by an Australian extreme athlete to promote coexistence between Jews and Arabs in Judea and Samaria was dealt a severe blow Sunday after the Palestinian Authority objected to the presence of Jewish runners.
A group of six Israelis were asked to refrain from participating in Australian ultra marathon runner Pat Farmers Peace Run, as it passed the Jewish communities of Eli and Shiloh in Samaria, north of Jerusalem. The groupwhich was organized by the Yesha Council in conjunction with Regavimhad coordinated with Farmers team ahead of time to ensure that Jews and Palestinians could run together in a true show of coexistence.
However when Ari Briggs, director of Regavimwhich advocates for Jewish land rightsarrived along with his group to participate, they were asked to stop running after just one kilometer.
Apparently, the news had reached the Palestinian Olympic Committee in Ramallah, which threatened to pull out of the Peace Run if Farmer continued to run with the Jewish well-wishers. Although Farmer was not happy about the move, which essentially undermined his campaign, the Jewish group were politely asked not to participate.

One side thinks that to have peace with the other means you have to eliminate them.
I am unsure how to mentally process this level of irony. I mean...what can you actually say to this?
it is unconscionable that Shiloh now exists in Muz-Pal territory .
These are the lands of ancient Israel , and to the JEWS they belong . Forever .
Peace = no Arabs in greater Israel
“Sure, we’re very interested in coexistence. Just keep those stinkin’ Jews away from us.”

Personally, I object to foreign do-gooders sticking their nose into what is basically a family squabble between us and our ‘cousins’. The only real reason they are interested is because either there is oil in Saudi Arabia (US and Australia), or there are Arabs in their homelands (EU), destroying their indigenous cultures.
