You raise an interesting point. The end result of a massive, controlling centralized government is a society that has no adults, just perpetual adolescents who never have to make any big decisions. What’s left of non-Muslim Europe is a case in point. We’re losing that continent to Islam because to quote Mark Steyn they all think “life is about sleeping in”.
I hope some adults get back in charge while we still have them.
