As a teenager, I saw a pic of Barbara Walters all dressed up going into a society wedding (Kennedy, I think). That was my first realization that media figures wanted to belong to the elite or already considered themselves as such. Not exactly “The Front Page”, anymore.
That was back when it was considered a REALLY big deal to marry a Kennedy. How times have changed! ;)
