(CNN) – An Ohio teacher was caught on camera grabbing a kindergartner in an apparent fit of anger, and now his parents are enraged.
Anthony and Autumn Nelson are still stunned by what happened to their 6-year-old son Ian last Wednesday. In a video they provided to us, the Riverdale School kindergartner is walking down the hallway to go to the bathroom.
The surveillance camera then shows his teacher, Barb Williams, confront him as he steps out of the bathroom. The teacher grabs Ian and pins him up against the wall, then grabs him by the face. It doesn’t end there. She picks him up by his shirt and his head flops back.

The nuns did this daily back in my school days. It was the least painful treatment I received.
That's what I was thinking. I hated it when they would grab my hair and give it a yank, but it did get me to pay attention. ;~))

Sorry if I sound dismissive, but I always want to know the backstory. These days I don’t trust kids to be angels, and the parents aren’t helping. On the surface it certainly looks bad, but sometimes I wonder just what this boy did.
And also, it won’t affect the boy much if you DON’T MAKE IT a big deal. Don’t feed the psyche! They know when you are upset so think they should be upset too.

I suspect that was the girls bathroom, and that’s why the teacher reacted to strongly.
Maybe he was loitering too long rather than getting back to class. There is a cut in the film.
No one deserves it more than the sadist who posted that pic in Post 3.
My thoughts as we’ll. She left a bruise in the back of his head. She didn’t just grab his chin to make him look at her while she spoke to him. She lifted him by his shirt and slammed him against the wall. He was a kinder gardener not a middle or high schooler. She should be in jail.
