Golly, if things get out of hand, they might have to call in some heavily armed federal agents from the Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Land Management, or the IRS.
Maybe all three.

where many a problem in Albuquerque has been put to rest.

It seems the APD is incapable of solving any sort of dispute without a citizen ending up dead.
As Jack Spirco likes to say, "When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail".

I recommend everyone study the
Stanford Prison Experiment in order to understand what is happening with the police, and with citizens. This is not a situation where the police are protecting society against criminals or hate groups.
The "hate groups" and "terrorists" are being generated by the police as a normal psychological reaction to the overmilitarization of the police. There is nothing the police can do to force citizens into compliance now. They must back down, get rid of these stormtrooper outfits, and change their training to "serve and protect."

...might have to call in some heavily armed federal agents from the Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Land Management, or the IRS. Good thing they had the foresight to create militarized, heavily armed "investigative" branches in those agencies, and purchase them what, a billion bullets in order to keep the little people in line...

The problem is big government, even at the large city level.
The trend over the last century has been consolidation of smaller towns into larger cities and the growth of powerful county governments, putting more and more distance between the local people and their public servants.
In this case, in a small town, the mayor would be asked to throw out the police chief, and if he didn't, the mayor himself would be thrown out.
Not in today's world.
Corruption can go on and on, and as long as a virtually anonymous 51% get their kick backs and pork, etc, nothing happens.
There's a huge opportunity for Republicans to connect with the young over this. The young want control of their communities. They THINK they've got to install progressives and leftists at the federal state and city level to do this. It's a fool's errand.
The young want control of their communities. Republicans need to do something about state and city level "big government".

Based on our investigation, we have reasonable cause to believe that APD engages in a pattern or practice of use of excessive force, including deadly force, in violation of the Fourth Amendment and Section 14141.If I violated a black persons 4th amendment rights Holder would have me in cuffs.

So why didn’t Gomer issue a citizens arrest on the guy who did the shooting?
