According to UN Agenda 21, killing 90% of the population would be a GOOD thing. It’s the entire goal.

just a solitary nuke detonated in the atmosphere above the American heartland

As an electrical engineer, specialized in power systems, I strongly doubt a single nuclear explosion would be more than a localized event.

With 90% of US population gone that would mean the rest of the world would be on that so called “level playing field”. Everyone would now have a great shot at success.

Was the disruption at LAX last week coinciding with the U-2 fly over an EMP test?

You should be making/buying Faraday boxes for anything important you would want to rely on. Such as communications equipment and solar/wind power charge controllers and inverters.

Those using insulin or having other need for for refrigeration should look for a good, used RV propane powered refrigerator and propane stocks, and have extra circuit board electronics in Faraday boxes.

Of course, insulin supplies and propane will run out eventually. But, RV refrigerators will run a long time with a tiny flame powered from a home barbque grill tank.

Everything regarding an emp is theory, no one knows what will happen, no one even knows if, after the emp, that your car won't start. What is pretty sure is the power lines will be fried as will everything attached to them, at either end and in between. But aw for deaths, speculation, hype and bull dung.

Now comes my speculation, the US GØvt will have a false flag emp over either part of the mid Atlantic or that pesky Fransisco area.

If the single missile is in anyway tracked or identifiable to a sovereign state, 10 of 10 are likely killed in the nuclear retaliation which the U. S. returns. The threat of EMP on electronics has been known for decades and sensitive U. S. military assets have been protected for years.

It would likely be a rough 3-4 year adjustment/recovery period but I'm skeptical about the extremely dire predictions which seem to be associated with a rogue EMP detonation. A coordinated sneak attack by a technologically sophisticated country with lots of military resources (such as China) could be a real nightmare. The rebuilding process in such a scenario would involve a lot more than the electrical/communications infrastructure. Hundreds, if not thousands, of nuclear retaliatory strikes would lay waste to about everything.

"just a solitary nuke detonated in the atmosphere above the American heartland

This is a load of crap and frankly, I'm getting tired of this hysteria mongering over EMP attacks. Hell, the Russians did to one of their own provinces in the 60s, which makes for interesting reading. See here: http://www.futurescience.com/emp/test184.html

In fact, it could be argued that you would do far more damage and destruction by just having the nuke hit a target on the ground than by having it airburst.

When power went out in major cities for long periods of time, there weren’t 9 in 10 deaths or anything like it.

If anything takes out the grid id a major way it still can be rebuilt.

Since so many democrats are dependent on the State for survival we can assume many more democrats will die in an EMP attack.

Maybe that will motivate democrats to get off their butts and deal with this issue.

an EMP attack from us on another country would NOT have nearly the same disastrous impact- so we cannot threaten M.A.D. for EMP attack

Most other countries could more easily go back to third world lifestyles- they mostly are already

Forget EMP. Its even more likely that it will be hacked or there will be an attack on a bunch of sub stations and put it down. Its going down. Just a matter of what moment in time.

Or regions may go down. Think what would have happened if the Vegas SWAT etc had raided the Bundy ranch and killed a bunch of people. How long do you think it would have been til the Vegas strip went dark?

There is some guy in CT thas has said if they try to confiscate weapons he has 50 guys and they are going to put the grid down there.

Once it happens one time every copy cat in the country will be attempting it.

OK, Iraq was a fairly modern country in 2003 when we went to war. We essentially took out their entire electric grid. And it does not appear that a significant number of people died from the attack.
