FBI agents acted reasonably when they shot and killed a man in the Idaho wilderness who was suspected of kidnapping a teen girl and killing her mother and brother in California, federal and state prosecutors said Wednesday.
The two FBI agents who shot James DiMaggio acted reasonably and should not face charges, U.S. Attorney Wendy Olson and Valley County Prosecutor Jay Kiiha said in a joint announcement.
DiMaggio, 40, was killed Aug. 10, a week after authorities said he abducted 16-year-old Hannah Anderson and killed her relatives in Boulevard, California.

There are still so many unanswered questions about this case...
On the up side, DiMaggio didn’t have to lay around a prison cell for 20 years hoping that the prison guys don’t “botch” his euthanasia end of life event.
People aren’t considering the possibility that he was an arrowhead collector —this guy really might have needed killing.
What if he was also selling unpasteurized milk..?
He could even have been a plumber or rodeo clown.
iirc, this was a good shoot
There were questions whether the girl was a willing accomplice but the a$$h*** did murder 2 people and no family pets were injured. All good.
If this girl was somehow complicit with that crazy middle aged ‘family friend’, the truth will come out. The same pridefulness that drove her to manipulate the adults around her, will compel her to brag about what she got away with. She may already have told a psychiatrist, who may have decided to keep her secret, feeling no good would come of it. Besides, the murderer has already been slain. What indeed, was her Mom thinking to allow this ninth grader to go on frequent ‘camping trips’ alone with this man. Maybe at one time it was a menage a trois. She will come forward with it herself, when funds get so low, that she’ll have a book ghost written for her for the money, and for another round of being in high demand for on air interviews.
