I thought HGTV was all pretty much gay.
I used to watch HGTV often because I love seeing fabulous homes I couldn’t afford in a million years. But then I started noticing the overwhelming number of gays. One of the shows is called House Hunters featuring individuals and couples looking at homes to buy or sometimes rent. The show began featuring two male or two female buyers. They were never called gay or a couple, but it was obvious they were. You don’t buy a 3 bedroom house, but use only one of the bedrooms as a bedroom for two people.
Eventually, the show became less subtle about the buyers’ sexual orientation. It’s irritating to see two prospective home buyers of the same sex being referred to as a “couple.”
