You nailed it! The ‘RATS are going to try the same thing here again in Arizona. This time with the more potent, “recreational” marijuana. That’s the commie ‘RATS’ ace in the hole for November and the GOOBs will let them get away with it. These pothead propositions should be held during a less important voting period. Have a special vote or something. They should not be held when America’s future is at stake. Potheads shouldn’t be deciding our future.
They didn't ban helmets... the rider still has the option to wear one if he/she chooses.
But, you're right of course... we do need to have the government dictate all of our actions so we can be totally safe.
Oh, I’m perfectly happy to agree we had a real problem with that here. I live in FL, and there used to be all kinds of billboards up for “pain clinics,” especially on I-75, presumably to get those coming down from TN.
It’s just that FL is no longer a magnet for this, at least not legally. Had a number of high-profile prosecutions.
Like I said, all kinds of restrictions now on pain medication, probably more so than in some other states.
State always seem to go to the other extreme -- locking it down so even totally legitimate patients find it very difficult to get/fill prescriptions.
What have you to say about the incredible damage to society the criminalization of the mere possesion and personal use of a plant has done to our society?
I'm not a fan of “medical marijuana” laws.
I am against prohibitionist laws, and the failed government “war on drugs”, regarding a plant that anyone can grow in their own home, for personal use for whatever reason they choose, medical or entertainment.
I do think it is past time for a popular vote on the issue.

And the Feds need to start routinely randomly testing themselves, and I do mean all of the Fed, elected, appointed and every single overpaid civil service worker at every single level...no matter what their “Union” contracts say, which shield them from the consequences of their own demands for everyone else.
My response had nothing to do with the virtues of marijuana. It had everything to do with how dims want to bring out a voting block generally sympathetic to them and supportive or their candidates.
