This won’t be a popular sentiment here, but she’s starting to remind me of John Fin Kerry who couldn’t let a single political-related event pass without having to opine. Sometimes, you can just NOT opine, it’s OK.
If the GOP underwhelms in the mid-terms, she can say that she did offer support and it's now time for a new direction. Remember that her and Levin have openly talked about forming a 3rd party.
It’s too late. Those smug GOP-E weenies have already showed us what they think of Conservatives. They can go to hell.
The best way to see your choice is to picture the day after the election.
1) Republicans have a majority in both House & Senate and we can start putting pressure on the serious ones to do it right.
2) The Democrats kept the majority in the Senate and, as we know from experience, it doesn't make a damn what we do because NOTHING gets through to those clowns.
So, as I see it, I either have a shot at someone listening or I can be guaranteed to be ignored.
E3, I see what you’re saying. And I don’t necessarily disagree with the logic of it.
The problem with that mindset is that it repeats every year/election. To no positive end. Palin, who anyone reading my years of posts knows I support, is kicking the can. The wrong of a thing post mid term is still worth opposing today.
We all know what will happen. People will get the FEAR again after all their online buddies scream about lesser evils, then run out and vote for what ever GOP idiot is on the ballot regardless of Amnesty, gay or any other leftist beliefs they advertize...just to keep the identically believing dem from winning.
That is why we are in this mess in the first place.
So why wait when the outcome is known? Why throw away all these sorely needed months and countless dollars in the mean time?
Sarah, I love ya, but you are dead nuts wrong to perpetuate this and the above is exactly why. The fear that drives people to Groundhog Day elections is for lack of an alternative. Be that alternative. Please reconsider.
Thank God SOMEONE has the balls to speak the truth, and NO, she cannot say it too many times. God bless you, Sarah! Bob
Uhhh, whaattt?? Right to gloat? You think gloating is a matter of rights?? Just damn.
"...and should not when they win a primary."
Really? Do you not think every TPer (including me) would be strutting like the baddest rooster in the pen if Brannon had won? Of course we would, and rightly so....except the GOPe gets to do it. Rights be damned.
They should gloat. They proved we are as a whole, as much plantation dwellers as any liberal.
“Why vote when your choice is either the left wing or the moderate wing of the DNC.”
Because we can wind up with someone to the left of Obama?
GOPe nonsense gloating.
There was 7 other candidates who ran in the NC senate primary other than Tillis, and those 7 got about 54.5% of the total vote.
Maybe so. But unfortunately it doesn’t matter. Their combined majority is not going to the General. Now all the lesser evils will demand...are already demanding... that he be rallied behind and the leftward tilt of the GOP continues.
they got what they want, we lost and people are being told to put ice on it.
Once the constitutional boundry has been trashed, as it has, with no repercussions ther are no more constraints on Government.. Both parties kinda like that. there is no “conservative wing” in Government anymore. Ther is no one person that has not voted for at least one “out of bounds “ law. As an example 2012 NDAA.....
