All leftists hate guns for obvious reasons.
It makes it harder for them to take over a nation.

They don’t hate guns, per-se.
They hate an armed populace.
A disarmed populace is much easier to control.
Actually they love guns, but only in the hands of their JBTs. It OUR hands they don't like to be able to pick up a gun..
It isn’t just that. It is a world view.
They grow up in a world where firearms are only all BAD. Yes their security guards have them, and so do police, but if we can only perfect mankind there would be no need for arms at all.
This is also why the elite’s can’t seem to grasp why the West is at war with Islam. They think deep down all muslims want to be posh New Yorkers. They can not understand anyone who has different objectives.
Unfortunately, utopian dreamers always become despots when human nature fails to conform to what they want to be.
Leftists don't hate guns any more than they hate wealth. They just want to make sure that they monopoly on both once they're in power. You don't see liberal anti-gun activists looking to disarm goon Federal Agents (or even their private security details) any time soon.
