The combination of massive ignorance with overwhelming arrogance pretty much defines liberal politicians. And the dumber and more ignorant they are the more convinced they are that their ideas are right. Look at every liberal politician in the country. They may appear to look different, but fundamentally they are all the same.

• They lack the slighest understanding of economics
• They think the way science works is to postulate a hypothesis that supports a marxist agenda and then manufacture evidence to support it while supressing evidence that refutes it (globull warming)
• Think that not only should there be no limitation whatsoever on government power, but behave as though that were already true.
• Totally ignore any disasterous effects of whatever idiotic legislation they've passed to fix some sort of problem (almost always a problem caused by idiotic legislation in the first place) and repeat the mantra "We just didn't go far enough." I.E. when doing x amount of something makes things worse, then somehow doing 10x of that same thing will make things better
• And above all they NEVER admit that they're wrong. You will never hear a politician say "That law was a mistake. We should repeal it."

I could go on, but you all know this anyway (or you'd be posting on DU) The two best things about government work are

1. You get to spend other peoples' money that they worked hard for and
2. You never have to face any personal consequences for bad decisions

- LACKING EMPATHY and disregarding the feelings of others (that is the big one - the “tell”)

- Being obsessed with self

- Pursuing mainly selfish goals

- Trouble keeping healthy relationships

- Becoming easily hurt and rejected

- Setting goals that are unrealistic

- Wanting “the best” of everything
