In the old days, Hollyweird celebs could have their careers destroyed by allegations of sexual impropriety...think Fatty Arbuckle (who was found not guilty of the crime he was alleged to have committed) and Charlie Chaplin who had to leave the country. So did Roman Polanski. Times are different. Now Polanski is treated as some kind of artistic hero, and we have any kind of perversion permitted.
It’s widespread, Michael Jackson, Woody Allen...all worshipped like stars.
Hmmmmm. Maybe it would have been better for everyone, if Polanski had made Sharon Tate's party.
