The disappearing act known as the congressional Fast and Furious investigation made a brief return to the stage recently when U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder became unhinged during questioning by Representative Louis Gohmert (R). The trigger for his defiance was the mention by Rep. Gohmert of possible contempt charges over the Fast and Furious scandal. The AGs admonition of Dont go there buddy, started discussion as to why Holder reacted in such a strong manner. Sure, hes hiding something, or someone, but are the White House, ATF, and the AG the only players? In June 2011, Rep. Darrell Issas initial report was published detailing the facts about the operation. Two months later, in August 2011, a Washington Times report based on insider information, revealed the primary motive of the gunrunning was to covertly arm a favored drug cartel not by the ATF, but by the CIA. And in January of this year, American Thinker ran an article documenting a decade-long DEA deal with the drug cartels citing reports going back to the beginning of 2012. It seems Issas report generated some interesting responses from other three-letter agencies pretty quickly and consistently for several years. And make no mistake, anytime the CIA leaks to the media about a supposed covert mission, it sends a strong signal to the beltway elite. In this case, back off. But the CIA leak raises an interesting issue, and that is the complete lack of evidence or testimony from intelligence organizations in the House

When a black guy says “buddy” to a white guy - its racist code. Remember that.
I remember back in the late 80s and early 90s. When the black community was accusing the CIA of being behind the crack cocaine epidemic.
Now looking back, I wonder if we owe them an apology for laughing at them like they were crazy foil hatters.
Its beyond debate that CIA was heavily involved in the golden triangle in the 60s. They used LSD experimentally on unwitting soldiers. Opium production in Afghanistan has utterly exploded since we took over.
So if fast and furious was a CIA op designed to help Sinaloa win the Mexican narco civil war,, it probably wold surprise me.
You know, between them and the NSA, it seems like our intelligence services are a tad out of control.
that’s “wouldn’t surprise me”
I cant think of anything more cynical than for the US government to place Border Patrol agents on the southern border.
They have done nothing but ensure that the border is wide open, and that if Mexicans get past the goalie into the interior of the USA, they are welcomed with open arms.
Pure evil cynicism, though that word has lost its power.
Yeah, and more smack is hitting the streets than has been seen in these parts in a long time...
Without lots of drugs coming into the US, it’s hard to justify the war on drugs and the war on liberty that the drug war supposedly justifies.
Well.... we weren’t just giving those weapons away to various ‘terrorist’ groups in the Middle East FOR FREE.
We traded. Opium and Heroin for weapons.
Mena airport brought more drugs than the friends of Bill Clinton unloaded. George Bush Sr. people unloaded the rest. A C-130 holds a big amount.
No, it's not.
On this side of the border it's violations of the RICO Act. In Mexico and Honduras it's state-sponsored terrorism.
What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within a foreign country wherein that country is in a death struggle with those syndicates?
Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?
Not to mention that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.
Let's not leave out the DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.
It's organized, it is spread through every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned. It's the FedGov acting like mafiosa.

0bama, Holder and Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is state-sponsored terrorism. These criminal thugs are dragging our country down to the level of Tehran and Pyongyang.
For a scary book about the CIA, you should read “ JFK and the Unspeakable, why he died and why it matters. by James Douglass, Its available on Kindle as well.
