“cited medical records that showed the girl’s past sexual activity and that she’d had a child. There were also texts between the victim and Sir Young, now 20, consenting to sex but not at school”

Consensual sex between a fourteen and eighteen year old is called rape. I don’t agree.
Bottom line, right there.

She is not a child, she is a mother. Consensual sex between a sexually active 14 year old and an 18 year old is not rape in my book.
Incorrect. Most states have an age of consent. It varies state by state.
So an actual rape is connected to fake allegations......? You’re stretching that pretty far!
I might point out that it was the vast majority of blacks that wanted him to go free.
Not a life sentence, but yes, it does warrant an actual sentence, instead of a wagging finger, as this guy got. And besides, I’m sorry to tell you, but agreeing to sex outside of school, but no to inside of school, and then saying No, Stop, is rape.
Me too, or something along that line.
I like it! It suits you!! LOL
There’s the usual: If she was raped, she must have been asking for it poster.
Not as long as I draw a breath!
Right, it’s statutory rape. But this isn’t “rape-rape” even though she said NO and STOP. Sluts can’t say no, right? So if he were 48 instead of 18, still, no problem, right?
> So an actual rape is connected to fake allegations......? Youre stretching that pretty far!
I’m not mking that stretch. You are. I’m merely stating that in this day and age you need to take into account different factors you didn’t have to years ago. One is that women today are not of the same chaste quality they were pre-1960. Times have changed.
Well, Here’s the law! Looks as though at 14, she was covered in ALL States and the FG.
Federal law
The Federal government has a legal age of consent of 18. Federal law, however, applies only to sexual acts that involve travel between different states, countries, or on federal property. This makes it a crime to use any form of communication between states to try to get a minor to have sex with an adult. Even if the minor and adult are in the same state, if the communication leaves the state, it is a crime. For example, if both people live in the same state and use an instant messaging program to communicate, and if the server used for the communication is in another state, this is a crime.
It is also a crime for a minor to be taken to a different state to have sex. This could happen if the 16 year old lived in a state that had an age of consent of 18 but traveled to a state where the age limit was 16. If the adult travels to a different state or a different country to have sex with a minor, this is only a federal crime if the minor is under the age of 16. It may still be a local crime if the minor was under the age of consent of the state or nation where the sex happened but it is not a federal crime.
States
Each US state has its own age of consent. State laws set the age of consent at 16, 17 or 18. The most common age is 16.[2]
Age of consent 16 (30): Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia
Age of consent 17 (9): Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Texas, Wyoming
Age of consent 18 (11): Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin,1
The judge cited such records, yet according to the articles on this I have been able to find the family insists that the girl has never been pregnant.
So it is fair to ask whether such medical records actually exist, or whether the Judge invented them as part of an attempt to give some leeway to one of Holder’s people.
For what it’s worth dept.
snip
In a video-recorded interview with Dallas police detective Denise Rodriguez that was
played in court, Young initially said that the girl said no at first but then didnt
tell him to stop. But then, he admitted that the girl told him to stop numerous times,
including during the sexual assault.
When Rodriguez described what happened and asked Young if that was rape, he replied:
Thats rape. I hate to have that on my plate. But thats rape.
I did not read every detail
But some here think the 18 and 14 thing would deserve many years in prison just itself even if concensual
My great grandparents would have found that curious and themselves criminal in 1900 rural Mississippi
Oh yes, of course it’s me, not you. You bring up completely unrelated items, but it’s me.
> Oh yes, of course its me, not you. You bring up completely unrelated items, but its me.
Can’t we all just get along?...: )
(sobbing) I luv ya, man!!!!!
