Those articles are pure speculation and wishful thinking Chuck. I hope they are true. I was surprised that Gowdy was suggested as Chair. I would think he is the best choice. OTOH my cynical side says someone must have something on him so Boehner puts him out front knowing that SHTF ensues.

No faith in Boehner on the very eve of his crucial primary challenge (5/6). He has real opposition in SW Ohio this week.

Chuck, Trey Gowdy was on Greta the other night and said specifically that he had not been asked to head the special committee, he also said to Greta at the end of the segment something to the effect that if Greta heard anything to let him know.
