This version by Stiviano is slightly different than what I have perceived to have been presented so far. The version being presented so far is that Sterling didn't want her to bring black people to the games. Stiviano explains in this interview that people were pressuring Sterling to tell her not to bring black friends to the games who presented the image of being "gangsters" or "thugs." Now if this is true, then Sterling could be said to have been trying to clean up the image of the NBA as being associated with "gangsters" or "thugs."

I bet she didn’t even ask her how much she was trying to extort from Sterling.

The interview BOMBED..when V or whatever the heck her name is said that she has HUNDREDS of hours of tape a logical person would have said “Well, first of all, why did you tape him and secondly, DID U HAVE HIS PERMISSION” because it is against the law in California to tape someone without their consent

“... it could indicate a deeper, systemic problem of racism and discrimination that merits investigation.”
OR, they just don’t like gangsters and thugs.

It does not matter what Walters asked or Stiviano answered. The results obtained were the results that were desired by someone.
I still would like to see Sterling shut down the Clippers. If for no other reason than to see how the league would handle it. That could and would set the precedent for the Redskins owner to follow if they ban him for having a "racist" team name. Or the Dolphins owner if he is banned for having homophobic thoughts.

I knew Walters was going to be in trouble when I heard her say at one point that sometimes people say outrageous things
“in the heat of the moment” - the very idea that someone could have said what Sterling did and not be a total monster without any possible redeeming grace or humanity must be banished forever from any public exposure......

All the wannabees in the chattering class who have an unfulfilled need to get a ‘coveted’ Barbara Walters interview.....I hope they feel like Wa Wa punched them in the face by going so low brow.

The main reason is she’s a senile old crud who didn’t have much between her ears even in her prime.

Sounds like she began taping when Paula Dean was taken out for racism.
