Are the End Times Upon Us? Author Says ‘Unrestrained Immorality’ Mirrors ‘Pandemic Godlessness’

FULL TITLE:Are the End Times Upon Us? Author Says ‘Unrestrained Immorality’ Mirrors ‘Pandemic Godlessness’ Seen in the Bible

Is mankind evolving into a more peaceful and prosperous people – or are we on a path toward ever-increasing moral depravity, social chaos and destruction?

Answering that dichotomy depends on one’s worldview, but Christian author Jeff Kinley is in the latter camp, telling TheBlaze that he sees human beings continuously and perilously cutting God out of society.

“I look around my world and I think, ‘Wow, we’ve written God out of our own story here,’” Kinley recently said in an interview. “We’re content in living in our own lives.”

Kinley repeatedly spoke against the removal of God from society, saying that it leaves mankind to his own devices, creating a horizontal rather than vertical morality – one in which there is a “sliding scale of morality.”

Citing gay marriage, which is now legal for the first time “perhaps since the days of Noah itself,” Kinley said that human beings are creating new ways of doing things based on shifting standards.

No one knows when the end times will be. Every prediction has been wrong so far, often embarrassingly so. This sort of speculation is really silly. One should always be prepared for end times, both spiritually and otherwise - but we aren’t going to know when that will be. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst sort of fits here.

If the 60s weren’t it, I wouldn’t worry.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Remember, Jesus did tell “His followers” .. “It has been given unto you to know the times and the seasons.”

The earth is in the process of collapsing in upon itself.

So, yes, we are in the last days.

The only way to fix it is to give money to Jeff’s church. /s

Just another fear mongering “religious” man.

Looking at a decaying Western society as the definitive sign of the end times is extremely US-centric.

For that matter, we’ve been in the last days for close to two millenia now.

Were the roaring twenties more or less morally depraved than current society? It got so wild it ushered in prohibition. I faced the fact my great grandfather partied his rear off and my great grandmother did the same. I’m okay with this fact.

I am not okay with Gov solutions to cultural issues. My great grandparent forgot moderation and shackled their future generation with organized crime and an ever growing, centralized government.

It got so wild it ushered in prohibition.

Other way around. Prohibition was ushered in during 1919, and it was what made the Roaring Twenties roar.

After what my family saw of that disgusting homo during the KY derby, I’d say yes, it is coming.

Those who incessantly talk about the end times are secretly wishing for them to arrive.

They think that the situation is so bad that the end times MUST be near.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Just think how the inmates in the Nazi death camps must have felt and imagine the terror of those in the Cambodian killing fields. They must have hoped for the end times and would have welcomed them with open arms.

Yet, that misery took place many years ago and we are still here.

What disgusting homo?

Johnny Weir, former "men's" figure skating champion, who now dresses as a woman, was recently "divorced" from his "husband." NBC had him as one of their celebrities calling the winner of the Kentucky Derby. Fabulous hat. (NBC frightens me more than s/he does.)
