Even if Thomas Gold’s theory is correct, it will cost vastly more to drill miles deep. Fundamental economics and free markets should still determine the most cost-effective method to meet the energy demands of consumers.
Oil and gas are hydrocarbon based....so are organic ...thus here are the “Green” jobs...in West Texas, ND and other fracking places.

You are absolutely correct. But I think people should begin to rethink using the words “fossil fuel” which implies once it’s gone it’s gone for good. The result of that thinking is...GO GREEN! Whether it makes sense to do so or not. As you point out, it’ doesn’t make sense to do so until there’s a reason for it. That reason will be economic.
The green jobs went to China but the green jobs billions went to DC lobbyists, community organizers, campaign donors, and other parasites.

By brainwashing the stupid taxpayers into accepting their mainly bogus “Endangered Species” listings, they could take over private property by calling it a ‘wetland,” kill entire industries for the Spotted Owl, and stop dams, developments and agriculture by citing a minnow or salamander’s rights. This should never have happened in the USA.

Why I instinctively start puking when I hear that phrase “social justice” or getting “justice” of some sort. When you hear someone spouting that phrase or words, you know you have an ignoramus or an outright communist.
Thank you. I have always said “follow the money”. Additonally, citizens need to be aware that the Environmental Lobby and the Politicians they buy are the greatest danger facing the U.S. Ecoonomy and it’s Security.
I’m sure he meant well. Bill O’Reilly stated that Obama is a “Patriot” and “his heart is in the right place.”
You just have to give his genius time to work; it takes time to undo all the damage of Bush and george Washington.
