That was an interesting video. I have seen still pictures of .22 “cell phone” guns before, but I have never seen a video.
So where does that leave us? Should cops be allowed to treat every cell phone as a potential firearm? And I suppose you could easily convert an umbrella into a single shot shotgun. So how should cops treat umbrellas?
Hey, I am presently walking with a cane, and there are plenty of examples of canes being modified to hole a sword or to fire shotgun shells.
Three things:
1) A cell gun shoots along the long edge. A cell phone being used for video recording is facing you with the long edge at right angles to you.
2) A cell phone gun is non functional as a cell phone. If it's ON, it proves it can't be a gun, and the cop should just go away.
3) The cell gun in the video used one of the old LARGE cell cases to house it. A modern iPhone is too slim to fit a gun into.
If that were the case, every time someone pulled a wallet to show ID, they'd would be shot on the spot or arrested.
