In the immediate aftermath of the 2012 attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the White House quickly jumped from questions about the cause of the attack to blaming the incendiary YouTube video promoted by Florida pastor Terry Jones.
Last May, a set of emails was leaked by opponents of President Obama outlining the development of the talking points then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice used in a series of television appearances following the September 11, 2012 attack. The White House then released a more complete set of messages, effectively neutralizing critique of how the talking points were created.

Now we know that Barack Obama was in the White House but NEVER MADE IT to the Situation Room the night of the Benghazi Attack on 9-11 2012.
This was after Islamists stormed the US Embassy in Cairo earlier in the day.
Obama never made it to the Situation Room.
Tommy Vietor was there. Obama wasn’t.
Tommy Vietor: I was in the Situation Room that night. Ok.
And we didn’t know where the ambassador was. Definitively.
Bret Baier: Was the president in the Situation Room?
Vietor: No…
Baier: Where was the president.
Vietor: In the White House.
Baier: He wasn’t in the Situation Room.
Vietor: Uhh. At what point in the evening. He was constantly… It’s well known that when the attack was first briefed to him it was in the Oval Office. And he was updated constantly…
Baier: Sp then when Hillary Clinton talks to him by phone at 10 PM, he’s where?
Vietor: I don’t know. I don’t have a tracking device on him in the residence.
Baier: But you were in the Situation Room and he wasn’t there.
Vietor: Yes.
The Consulate was under attack and Obama never made it downstairs to the Situation Room!

My blue-dog Democrat friend across the street just said the same thing. He’s a political junkie like I am and we have some great convos. I would classify him as pretty conservative and he HATES Obama.
He also said that the reason the Admin. said it was because of a video is that the people on the street,those at the consulate said it was...huh? When ? As they were murdering Stevens were they being interviewed?

He was stone-cold serious when he sneered, “We told you there were no WMDs in Iraq. You did nothing. We’re returning the favor. ‘Eye for an eye.’ Isn’t that your mantra?”

Whether it’s abject stupidity or spite, it’s still un-friggin-believable.
SMH. Well, the Dem I know is pretty open minded (which really is rare) and had Obama’s number from the get-go. Just hope he doesn’t vote for the Dem candidate in 2014. I hope his eyes have been opened.
