Governor Scott has impressed me. My former boss was on a business panel Scott set up to bring jobs to Florida. If a company would offer as few as 50 jobs my boss said Governor Scott would get on the phone and cut a deal. He’s been successful. But when he bowed to political pressure to prosecute George Zimmerman he took a big hit in my personal estimation. I’d hope Scott wouldn’t sign this bill, but the Senate and House are Republican and I’d guess they wouldn’t have done this in a vacuum. Unlike Obama, who appears politically clueless, everybody here does know how to get stuff done. Still, I’ll be deeply disappointed.

Is he running against Crist? If the answer is yes, you will know why he wanted this.

I’m disappointed as well. BTW, on Twitter the students are now asking Gov. Scott for driver’s licenses.
