Inflammation is part of the immune system. PAR2 is quite different from ppar gamma, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) γ.

..highlighting an emerging realization that obesity is an inflammatory disease
And such a cruelly capricious one too, as it only seems to randomly strike overeaters!

I've read the title three times now, I keep substituting Obama for Obesity at first glance. Subconscious mind I guess.

And all this time I thought it was chocolate cake and cheeseburgers that “inflamed” my midsection.

Oh, for Pete's sake.
Obesity is the result of eating foods that spike blood sugar levels: wheat, sugar, and starches are the primary culprits.
Cut those out of your diet and you'll be skinny as a rail. No expensive research needed.

Rather than trying to block the inflammatory biochemical process, why not try to avoid the inflammatory triggers?
Like cutting back on processed carbohydrates and the industrial seed oils and eating more actual food?

In my experience, PAR2 was a handy method of checking the integrity of archive files :)
They know what it is. They know what it does. They know its benefits. So I’m only half-joking when I say why not issue it as a drug straight away?

When obese rats on a diet high in sugar and fat No idea why they would use a diet high in both sugar and fat simultaneously. Some believe that each is the cause of obesity, though the newest evidence clearly indicates that high sugar and other rich carbos are the cause of obesity.
Many fats are good for us.

100% true. Every word a winner. Insulin spikes tell the body to store fat and create cravings for more sugar and starches. It is not complex.
