But the lack of confidence from her own party set Davis team off.
"The uninformed opinions of a Washington, D.C., desk jockey who's never stepped foot in Texas couldn't be less relevant to what's actually happening on the ground," Karin Johanson, Davis campaign manager, said in a surprising statement after Shumlins slight.
Johanson later clarified that the uninformed Washington, D.C., desk jockey was meant to describe whoever scripted the partys talking points on the DGAs priority campaigns.

Were hopeful in Texas but we all understand that Democrats havent won Texas in a long time, Shumlin told reporters Tuesday, according to The Wall Street Journal.
THAT pissed her off? Not governor material.

She’s failed way too early.
I had hoped she would be a rallying point and super sinkhole for national progressive campaign cash that otherwise would go to close races around the country.
End of April and she’s history....

The progressive spoiled brat did not get the free ride she wanted and now she is throwing a tantrum. So what is new with this??
This is just a feminist socialist in action. No free ride because she is a she and not preferential treatment because she is a socialist. Expect a tantrum every time.

The Dem establishment just "aborted" her candidacy.
Fitting, eh?

Everyone including Wendy “Abortion Barbie” Davis knows that she is going to lose. She was always going to lose.
Abortion Barbie is only running for governor because she knew she could not win re-election to her state senate seat. A losing governor race will make her a liberal darling and help her raise money for future campaigns. Losing her state senate race would only make her another forgotten loser.

To paraphrase Erick Erickson, it cost money to bus in those radical libs to community organize for hopeless RATS like Davis.
They saw their investment was GM bad, and dropped her like dirty undies.

Yes even KUT NPR Austin seems to have stopped their breathless Wendy Davis is the second coming of someone segments. Very staunch Catholic here but I don’t inject the abortion debate into every thread but how the Democrats expected to ride a one horse abortion lover into the Texas state mansion is beyond me.

How 'bout some soothing music, Wendy?

That is exactly what I was hoping for, but DANG she has made Clayton Williams seem like a GREAT campaigner!!

It looks like she dyed her hair blonde and bought all those Barbie outfits for nothing. Running for governor can get expensive when you don’t have much to work with.

I figured that she was going to announce that she was pregnant, but then announce that she was having an abortion so that she could win the mansion and handle the business of Texas.
I mean, what else did she have to work with?

I’d still give her a quarter to go to downtown Austin and have a rat gnaw that thing off her face
To: Libloather
All of the top of the hour newscasts were touting her every move after she announced but it seems that she is in such big trouble they even they noticed.
Don’t go away mad barbie, just go away.
