I still wonder how MSLSD is able to pay their bills.
I’d bet that they are being subsidized by our tax money to keep them afloat. Along with all the other alphabet soup media.

The label that something is Republican or Conservative from the left make me compare it to a radio station or jukebox. I can assure them as an avid listener for decades, they never play my song or any I like.

To the left, anything to right of Marx is Republican or conservative.

NBC holds pay TV providers for ransom by making them take MSDNC to get NBC network programming and sports. If MSLSD had to “sing for their supper” in an open market, they would starve.

“It was a colossally dumb move to go liberal nerd, when the average of an MSNBC viewer is 55. MSNBC is also the highest rated cable news network among African Americans. The MSNBC audience was never liberal nerd,”

Are they saying what I think they are saying??? Old people and blacks are not smart??? Well, that would explain why they watch MSNBC. And they are blaming Joe Scarborough for Morning Joe doing so badly because he’s a republican. ROFL

Scarborough’s unabashed support of the Republican Party

unabashed support of the Republican Party?
Where did that come from? Most days he's so far up President Fubar's butt that it would take a block & tackle to remove him. The guest liberals shit all over him and he takes it-I'm surprised they don't make crude remarks about his wife and children and he still would probably laugh along with them.
Scarborough is the NY Times type of Republican-one who agrees whenever his former party is attacked!

Morning Joe’s the problem. Yeahhhhhh...

Comedy Central just needs to buy that mess and turn it into their news-satire channel, with Stewart as the tentpeg now that Colbert’s leaving.

Comcast is profitable only becuase it is a monopoly in its market. The management at Comcast are so inept, they cannot even keep their network running without sabotaging it themselves by incompetence. Anytime there was something wrong, it was a near impossiblity to contact a living an breathing human being to make a complaint about the loss of service. Because of the arcane way in which their customer servie and technical support calls worked, they would always say the phone call ended up in another state which did not handle calls for the location of the customer, and they failed time and again for hours on end to transfer the call to the call center that would handle the call. When you finally did contact the call center you needed to contact, the rude repesentative would hang up to avoid doing anything about the complaint, the call would be disconnected, or they transferred the call to someone else and the call would be dropped. Then you had to spend another number of hours on hold and on trnasfered and dropped calls to reestablish contact with the right calll center again. When you finally did contact the right person...they insisted it was the customer’s computer problem or they had to send out a crew and the customer would have to pay for the service call because its was surely going to be the fault of the customer’s computer and/or cable mode; and, oh by the way, the customer would be told the old equipment wasn’t goood enough and would have to buy another alll over again because the customer didn’t pay for the monthly plan. Finally...the service crew would visit once, twice, threed times, four times, five times, and then would say they didn’t know why the customer wanted them to come out all of the time when it was plain to see there was nothing wrong with the customer’s computer or the customer’s cable modems (multiple cable modems you know), and they just couldn’t see what more they could do...even though there was still no High Speed Super Duper You Cannot Live Without It Broadband Comcast Internet Service! Then, trying to resort to extremist measures...reasoning out the problem...I asked why they said no one else had the problem on the network in my neighborhood, so it must be my problem and not the problem of Comcast that I had no service and was paying for the service I was not receiving. No, they could not understand that either...but it just has to be something at my place, because no one else on the neighborhood section of the cable had a problem. I asked, OK, but you are getting reports elsewhere in the region? Yes, they said, but that doesn’t have anything to do with your problem, because none of your neighbors on the cable have the proble, so it just can’t be anything to do with the other outtages. So, what is it I DO have in common with the other customers in the region who are having outtages? After much to and from they get to the fact we ae all customers with the basic service for High Speed Internet, meaning no MSNBC cable television and no cable telephone service, and no anything else, just the Internet. So, I ask, how do you deliver just the Internet to us and not the other services? Do you use a line filter? Oh yeah says one of the crew, let me get the ladder off of the truck. he goes out to the utility pole on the ladder, removes the balun with the line filter used to filter out everything but the signal line frequency for the Internet service...and Voila! The Internet service was back again.

The crew calls their offices and comes back to report what they found and gripe about how their office never tells THEM what is going on with the cable network THEY have to maintain. It turns out one of the Comcast managers in another state decided it was going to be a nifty idea to CHANGE the transmisison frequency of the high Speed Internet Service and NOT TELL ANYONE IN THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND SERVICE DEPARTMENTS HE MADE THE CHANGE! In other words, when this brain trust changed the transmission frequency, all basic customers lost the Internet service because the line filters were blocking the new transmission frequency!!!

To add insult to injury, when the customer discontinues service with Comcast, practically every customer I knew complained Comcast kept trying to charge them for not returning the cable modem that had been returned, or not returning the cable modem owned by the customer and not by Comcast, and/or charged the customer for service not received because the service had been ordered terminated in previous months, yet Comcast sicced the credit collection agents on the hapless and long suffering former Comcast customer fed up with the abuse.

No wonder Comcast makes money....

Good post.

I’m sure you understand going back to the 1970s there has been an incestuous relationship between politicians “awarding” exclusive cable franchise territories in exchange for campaign dough.

The Comcast “brand” is so toxic here that they actually go by an alias now “Xfinity”

All three of MSNBC’s primetime shows were down across the board compared to April 2013: “All In with Chris Hayes” was down -7% in total viewers and -27% in the demo, “The Rachel Maddow Show” was down -4% in total viewers and -32% in the demo, and “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” was down -19% and -33%, respectively.

Did not Media Matters recently take credit for "virtually writing the scripts" for MSNBC prime time?

So... according to THIS ahole.. the main problem with MSNBC is that it's not far enough to the left.

I think MSNBC viewers got too lazy to get up every morning, dawn their swastika armbands and wave their red star flags all day. Laziness and free ObamaCare is what did in the MSNBC audience. Most of their audience are now either writing poetry or taking guitar lessons.

That is classic.
