According to a sports media here in the NYC area today, Sterling isn't likely to do well in a court of law. I usually wouldn't cite this guy as a definitive source (especially for legal matters), he's been 100% correct in every prediction he's made about this case over the last few days.

Today, he referenced a particular provision in the NBA bylaws that requires owners to forfeit their right to litigate league matters in court. I'm not sure how that would stand up in court, but it seems that it really impairs his ability to wage a legal battle here.
