ALEXANDRIA, VA. (AP) Attorney General Mark Herring on Tuesday instructed Virginia colleges to grant in-state tuition to potentially thousands of students who were previously considered ineligible because of their immigration status.
The policy change, announced in front of hundreds of cheering immigration advocates at Northern Virginia Community College's Alexandria campus, is a change from the Democrat's Republican predecessors.
In the past, the attorney general's office had advised that students who entered the country illegally were barred from receiving in-state tuition, even if they were children when they immigrated.

“Attorney General Mark Herring on Tuesday instructed Virginia colleges to grant in-state tuition to illegal immigrants.”
Aaahhh yes, democrats being generous with other people’s money — One stupid decision after another.
Well Virginia, you voted for the dip$hit, you got this dip$shit — No crying when the dimocrats raise your taxes to pay for this BS.
That point is highly debatable. The lead by Republican candidate Mark Obenshain was slowly whittled away by fraud.
Terry McAuliffe.
Ralph Northam.
Mark Herring.
Traitorous bastards.
Sadly Clinton Crime Family platinum level member McAwful pulled off the infamous “Clinton plurality” win.
But it's worse than that.
Virginia Grants In-State College Tuition To Illegal Aliens.
Americans from other states are discriminated against.
I think the exemption is fine IF the illegal reimburses the state (and any other state lived in) for however many years of K-12 public education they have obtained as an illegal.
I think we’ve lost our freaking minds. Democrats for putting power above the good of the country and Republicans for allowing it. And us for electing them.
Arrest and deport.
And if legal majority voters in Virginia don't like their state's tuition policy then they better speak up and not sit on their hands in silent disapproval.
Why not just have your kids register to vote in their college state, then re-register in college as an in-state student using the voter registration as evidence. Surely a state wouldn’t register anybody to vote who wasn’t a citizen, would they?
