Yes, progressives confuse confiscatory government theft with charity. Charity is giving of yourself and/or your wealth without promise of personal gain.

Progressives also like to try to paint a picture of Jesus as the consummate liberal with an “everything and everyone is okay” image. This is not the Jesus of the Bible.

Odd, there’s no record in the canonical Scriptures of tax collectors and Roman soldiers turning up to help with the feeding of the 5000 with extra loaves and fishes acquired out of tax revenues. Is Ms. Clinton, perhaps reading one of those fraudulent gnostic “gospels”?

People get into trouble when they try to pigeon-hole the Gospel of Jesus Christ as liberal or as conservative. It is neither. It is the Word of God.

The reason why Jesus ended up on a cross is because humans are flawed, and we all see things through our own experiences and lenses. But God sees the whole picture. Jesus did not preach a social Gospel. He preached a very personal Gospel which required the individual to choose between good and evil; between life and death. Jesus was adamant that in order to be saved, one had to accept Him and to accept the Father; to repent and believe.

Hillary is such a hypocrite. She’s the one who claimed used underwear as a charity donation on their tax returns when they were in Arkansas. She is no example of Christian charity.

The Gospel according to Obama: “I am my brother’s keeper.”

Nancy Pelosi’s favorite word: The Word.

I guess her Bible has the part where they forcefully confiscate the loaves and fishes from the boy (John 6:9) instead of paying for them.

Did the boy give his loaves and fishes willingly,
or did they take them against his will?

All mentions of “spreading the wealth” in the Bible are metaphors for spreading the Gospel. Using those teachings for alterior political motive is blasphemous, pure and simple.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

While the lesson of the loaves and fishes is clearly one that suggests personal - rather than government - charity, I have to disagree with your representation of the above scripture. The contecxt of this quote is that the Apostle Paul was writing a letter to a church whose congregation had become convinced that Jesus would be returning very soon, and that the day of the rapture was at hand. And, in fact, many of the congregants had quit their jobs so that they could stay in church and pray, as they were convinced that that this event was imminent.

So in that context, Paul was basically saying that if these congregants are so sure that the rapture is at hand that they are willing to give up their jobs, then they should also stop eating as well.

Hence, the scrpiture is not saying that someone who does not work should not be fed.

In a way, she's right. Libs always promise to give away more than what they have, only they don't have divine intervention to create additional loaves and fishes. They just tax the Hell out of anyone they can and when that doesn't work anymore, they beg, borrow and steal.

How about the part about not killing people? How about the part about false witness? How about the part about loving you brother and not leaving them in a hell hole to die? How about the part about strange sex with strange people? The Clintons father is Satan as there works show.

Yes he told his people YOU FEED THEM..he didn't tell the Roman Government ..he didn't tell other ..he did it himself. .so he was self reliant..the lesson is lost on the left that to be Christ like you see and issue you fix it on your own

the left..they want to be the crowd receiving or they want to tell other to be the Christ and sacrifice or they want to be Pilate and order a Christ sacrifice for the sins of others.

But the messages on Christ and giving is you step up and do on you own..

ps..he fed the crowd the one time..he had the power to provide ever material want... everything to everybody forever..and didn't. ..why?..

Wasn’t that a Miracle?

So, by her own logic, it takes a Miracle for liberalism to work.

What He didn’t do was direct Roman Soldiers to take bread and fish by force from the crowds. Governments are known to do that.

But Jesus said, ‘No. You feed them,’” Clinton said. “He was teaching a lesson about the responsibility we all share.”

Yes Hillary the responsibility, WE,the people have. Not the Government.
