The good people of Texas IMO, should make it a point to lose the southern hospitality each and every time a Californicator mouths off and tell them to go to hell/back to California, that they are on YOUR turf now and to shut the hell up until they hit the New Mexico border.

PLEASE! For your own safety. Do NOT let them do to you what they are doing to Arizona.

Toyota is not moving to Texas. They are moving to Dallas.

“I Don’t Live in Dallas”
by Jarrod Birmingham”
Well the city’s so big nobody knows where it starts or where it ends
If you’ve got the money you can buy you up a lot of friends
‘Cause they’ll take anybody who drives a nice car
Got a place just for you up in Highland Park
If I don’t ever go there it’ll be all right with me

Chorus
‘Cause I don’t live in Dallas I live in Texas
Where we ain’t got no hockey
And no damn metroplexes
I don’t live in Dallas I live in Texas
And if I don’t ever go there it’ll be alright with me

Now Benny Hinn comes on Sundays everybody’s gonna go sing along
‘Cause they can’t start their football ‘til all wide receivers post bond
You’re a whole buncha yuppies with nothin’ to do
But keep Isuzu in business you all know it’s true
I’d like to sell you to Oklahoma if they could only afford you

In my experience, that's the best way to deal with it.

That can lead to the ever popular whining about "the lack of Southern hospitality I thought the South was famous for" and you have the conversation on the right track.

When the canard about hospitality drools down their chin you simply point out that helping them to understand Southern hospitality is exactly what required you to explain that a guest shouldn't complain about their host should wait until they're no longer enjoying the hospitality of the host to do so. You were just helping them learn the rules of hospitality so they won't make a fool of themself again. A very considerate thing for you to do, no?

Such folks are beyond the gentle, "now don't be ugly" chiding someone who notices a fine crack in a china cup receives. They need to have it pointed out to them that they weren't actually invited, they're just being tolerated.

Regards
