Larry Sabato was on “Fox & Friends” this morning discussing 4 races where a Democrat incumbent is in trouble, including Landrieu. Sabato tries to project an image of impartiality, but he is a Democrat, and he was hopeful Landrieu would manage to win—he pointed out that she has never won with more than 52% of the vote. It is possible that that race will not be decided until December, and it could determine who has the majority in the Senate (let’s hope that the Democrat losses are larger than that).
Oops—that should have been “where 4 incumbents are in trouble.” One has an “R” after his name (McConnell). The four states were Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina.
