This came out of tht National Review. I doubt any MSM types will even report the truth. If they do, it will probably be a 2nd page story.
I did a search on "Donald Sterling Politics" and found an article about some retired guy in Texas with the same name giving a few thousand bucks over the last 16 years or so to the Republican party. That's probably the kind of thing they'll run with.
